Zeppelin’s rite of passage to a TechStars graduate company was yesterday – the culmination of an amazing 3 months of the TechStars program.
We stepped on stage of the Royale in Boston, to present what we were working on for the last couple of months.
So what is Zeppelin?
Zeppelin is a next-generation SaaS platform that combined Business Intelligence and Collaboration to provide context for meaningful conversations that increase the productivity of teams.
Business Insights
We wrote about Solving Cloud Overload. We also wrote about the problems of staying on top of all the various cloud applications that we use. We connect to all those cloud applications and make it extremely easy to get a quick overview of activities going on across them and the key business metrics.
Actionable Alerts
Actionable Alerts are something we focusing a lot of energy on. They spark conversations when they matter the most – when there is proper context. We will talk more about them in the following blog posts, so stay tuned!
Conversations
We believe that getting feedback today is hard. It involves using technology not well suited for it, and people do not get included in the conversations, etc. We also feel conversations should be meaningful. Conversations are often sparked by events – social objects. Zeppelin brings a single place for teams to have meaningful conversations, because it enables these conversations to happen around context.
We will be writing a lot more about the three key features of Zeppelin in the upcoming days. But it looks like our solution is well timed:
A VC friend I know told me tonight that the major VC firms are moving funds away from consumer and toward business. Context is big, he says.
